Dr. Andy Mathis/Reuters This marvelous transformation was achieved by Dr Andy Mathis, who was looking to calm the abandoned dogs nerves by sitting and eating in her cage. Mathis, a veterinarian based in Elberton, United States found the stray dog stanley cup named Graycie abandoned and in bad health last month. She was diagnosed with hypothermia, emaciation and dehydration among a host of other medical problems. Mathis took the dog into hi stanley cup s care centre but couldnt decide if he should keep her, given her poor health. So he consulted his colleagues who suggested its worth a try. As it turns out, she is now on the road to recovery. The touching video, shared by Mathis on social media, shows the nervous dog observing the doctors tactic of stepping into her cage, sitting down and eating breakfast. Slowly, she man stanley cup ages to relax and moves forward to finish eating a full meal. This is the same Graycie who weighed just 20 pounds, was dehydrated, extremely skittish around people and was not eating consistently. Wow!
