Epnf FBI to investigate deadly police shooting in Phoenix
Six people died in an apartment fire early Friday in the southern Wisconsin village of Hartland, the police chief said. The death toll was revised, after officials said earlier that seven people died. This is an active criminal investigation stanley cup by the Hartland Police Department, Police Chief Torin Misko said at a morning news conference. The cause of the fire at a four-family apartment complex has not been determined.Misko said 15 fire departments and nine stanley cup police departments stanley cup responded to the apartment building, and they helped evacuate individuals from the building and from balconies. Lauren Rich s father, Master Trooper Detective Dave Rich was killed in the line of duty over a decade ago. His fellow officers made sure his daughter felt her dad s presence as she graduated high school this weekend.Sgt. Tony Slocum, a friend of Dave s who attended Saturday s ceremony, said that Lauren was only 7 when her father was killed in the line of duty, CBS affiliate WTTV reports. He was shot while investigating a report of a stranded car.The 39 Indiana officers who attended traveled from six different police departments to see the teen graduate from Southwood Junior-Senior High School. The uniformed officers took a photo nike dunk with Lauren after the ceremony, which Slocum later included in atweet writing, Congrats Lauren, we promise we will never forget your family s sacrifice. Slocum also added that Dave was an awesome guy and he would be proud of the great young lady Lauren has become.
